Bake Off Bans Innuendos! Here's Our Favourites

Bake Off Hosts Channel 4

Published at 2:30pm 23rd August 2018. (Updated at 2:32pm 23rd August 2018)

Channel 4 bosses have banned any naughty banter from the new series of The Great British Bake Off.

Apparently sexual innuendos about soggy bottoms, stiff peaks, chunky nuts and nice baps have all been axed in order to make it more family friendly.

But we thought we'd slip a few in here (see what we did there?)

The scorching hot summer is bound to have caused some serious drooping, wilting and melting in the tent (and that’s just Noel!)

So, to prepare us for a brand-new series of bakes, cakes and creations, let's take a look back at some of the finest Bake Off innuendos of all time.

“Some of them have got a good forking”

Back in the BBC days, even Mary Berry helped lower the tone (and widen the smiles)

“I’m ganaching my buns”

Contestant Diana was literally stating a fact. What’s wrong with you??

“It’s all in the wrist action”

Whisking. Mary was talking about whisking. Obvs.

“The terror of a soggy bottom has been keeping me up all night”

Despite the fear, Kimberley made it through to the series four final

“If there’s an opportunity for exposed bottoms we should embrace it”

Noel Fielding did not disappoint in his GBBO debut.

“Oh no, you have some irregular-shaped balls”

Everyone’s a critic ay Mary Berry?

“I'm going to try the old wiggling between two dangling things technique”

Sure series 4 contestant Glenn. Whatever works for you.
