Farnborough X Factor group Reggie N Bollie 'dropped from label'

Farnborough X Factor group Reggie N Bollie 'dropped from label'

Published at 4:20pm 2nd February 2017.

Farnborough X Factor act Reggie N Bollie have apparently been axed from Simon Cowell's record label.

The pair, who came second in the competition in 2015, have been dropped after releasing just two singles, according to The Sun.

Their first single charted at number 26 and their follow up fell short of that.

Reggie N Bollie appeared to confirm the news on their Twitter feed.

They posted a Tweet on Wednesday saying: "We're finally independent."

That was followed by a Tweet exclaiming: "New born Baby & New life begins. New label and New music. #FRODMUSIC"

It is a far cry from when the pair were on the X Factor and were seen by many as favourites to win the show.

They were mentored by Cheryl and paid a visit to their hometown of Farnborough as they tried to drum up support amongst fans.
