E-fit released after reports of sex assault on teen in Addlestone

Can you help Surrey Police identify the man in this e-fit?

Officers are appealing for the public’s help following a report of sexual assault near Addlestone Cemetery.

A teenage girl was reportedly walking along the footpath between Green Lane and Eastworth Road, Chertsey on Monday, 6 February 2017 between 3-3.35pmm when it happened. 

She was then pulled into a wooded area by the suspect where the incident then took place.

The man has been described as White/European, of large build, aged in his 20’s with dark/brown eyes.

He had facial stubble and wore a black tracksuit with a hood and a black beanie hat.

Addlestone

Detective Simon Young said: “We take all reports of sexual assault extremely seriously and I would like to reassure the public that we are carrying out a number of enquires, including conducting house to house calls and viewing CCTV footage in the area.

"We understand that reports of this nature can be upsetting for the local community and have a huge effect on the victim, we are working closely with the victim to fully investigate the incident.”
