It Was 13 Hours Of Non Stop Rock In New York

On this day in 1988, Led Zeppelin reunited for the Atlantic records 40th Anniversary Pary at Madison Square Garden.

It was an unforgettable non-stop gig lasting almost 13 hours!

Only artists who had released material on the Atlantic label performed, with the artists spanning the 40 years of the company's existence. 

This included the legendary Led Zeppelin.  Jason Bonham, the son of John Bonham played on drums.

Other acts performing on the day were Foreigner, Crosby Stills Nash, Genesis, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Wilson Picket and Ben E. King.
