Woking FC have been drawn at home against Watford in the third-round of the FA Cup.

It means Alan Dowson's side will host Premier League opposition, with the tie set to be played on the weekend of Saturday 5 January 2019.

The Cards earned a place in the third-round of the competition for the first time in 22 years after a surprise 1-0 victory over League Two Swindon Town.

It will be the first competitive meeting between the two teams, although they did meet during pre-season in 2016 and 2017 - also at the Laithwaite Community Stadium - with the Hornets held to a 1-1 draw on both occasions.

Striker Jake Hyde was the hero for Woking in the last round after heading home Josh Casey's cross in the 76th minute at the County Ground.

The third-round sees the 44 teams from the Premier League and Championship join the 20 sides who have progressed to this stage from the second-round.

Should Woking win their tie, the National League South side will receive £135,500 in prize money.

You can see the draw in full here.
