Bromley draw confirms Play-Off spot for Aldershot Town

Published at 12:41pm 25th April 2018.

Aldershot Town have secured a spot in the 2017/18 National League Play-Offs following Bromley's goalless draw with Barrow on Tuesday night.

Regardless of what happens during Saturday's final league game of the season, the Shots are guaranteed to finish in the top seven.

Gary Waddock's side will be keen to get a win against third place Sutton United though, as a new Play-Off format is introduced in the league.

The teams that finish fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh have to battle it out in 'eliminators' taking place on the 2nd and 3rd of May, meanwhile the sides that finish second and third will automatically progress to the semi-finals,

The final will take place on Saturday 12 May at Wembley Stadium, with two clubs battling it out to join champions Macclesfield Town in League 2.

Aldershot Town say ticket details will be announced as soon as the fixtures are confirmed.
