Woking Football Club have announced four pre-season friendly matches will take place throughout July.

It comes ahead of the 2017/18 season, when new manager Anthony Limbrick will take charge for the first time after being appointed as Garry Hill's replacement.

Last year the Cards came 18th in the Vanarama National League.

Limbrick's first match as manager of Woking will be a tough one as Premier League side Watford visit the Laithwaite Community Stadium.

Woking will take on the Hornets on Saturday 8 July at 3pm.

This is then followed by three away friendlies, starting against Leatherhead on Tuesday 11 July at 7:45pm.

Woking then travel to Basingstoke on Tuesday 18 July. The two sides played each other in a pre-season friendly in 2014 in which Woking won 2-1.

And finally Anthony Limbrick will return to a side he coached between 2005 and 2009 on Saturday 22 July as the Cards face Wingate and Finchley.
