Stars align for Wentworth BMW PGA Pro-Am

The world's top golfers have today teamed up with ex-sportsmen, celebrities and film stars for the BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am at Wentworth Club.

The official professional tournament starts tomorrow, with Englishman Chris Wood defending his 2016 title.

He teed off in the Pro-Am at 8 o'clock this morning with Sir Steve Redgrave, Sir Matthew Pinsent and Damian Lewis.

They're one of 48 groups taking on the classic West Course, which has recently seen a multi million pound renovation.

Other groups include the likes of Kevin Pietersen, Brian McFadden, Piers Morgan, Ryan Giggs, Brian ODriscoll and Damian Lewis. You can see a full list of the everyone in the Pro-Am here.

Wentworth

One of the professionals hoping to make a challenge in this week's championship is Surrey-based James Morrison.

We caught up with the Chertsey born pro during his Pro-Am round with Gethin Jones, Tom Chaplin and Steve Rider: 

England rugby world cup winning star Mike Tindall is also out on the course today, playing alongside Will Carling, Rishi Persad and Paul McGinley.
