Farnborough 6th Form football team have been crowned champions of the English Schools FA Colleges U18 Cup.

The side came from both 1-0 and 2-1 down to beat York College 3-2 at Doncaster's Keep Moat Stadium.

They reached the final of the competition after a closely fought semi-final, winning on penalties.

Over 100 sides entered the national cup.

Manager of the side, Alan Reed told Eagle: "This is as big as you're going to get in college football.

"It's a real effort, I've worked at the college for 12 years and we've never got to this stage of the competition.

"We're fortunate we've got a really good crop of players this season, really committed too.

"I'm really pleased with the way they've come together this season."

Well done lads!
