Update: All Hallows U13s secure place in national final

The All Hallows School under 13's football team faced the biggest game of their season so far today...and they have WON!

They traveled to Queens' School for a 1 o'clock kick off in a national cup semi-final and won 3 - nil

To put it in perspective, over 600 teams entered the competition.

The team will now  play at a Premier League stadium in the final .

Lee Marker (pictured below) is Head of Football at All Hallows Catholic School and the U13s coach: "We're very lucky to have a pool in one year group of very, very exceptional footballers, all in one year group.

"So they've been going from strength to strength and got better and better.

"One of the players, our top goal scorers, scored 80 goals in two seasons, in about 30 games.

"We've got a fantastic goalkeeper who's at Reading Academy, some fantastic defenders and mid-fielders."

"Team spirit, you watch them on the play ground, there's never any arguments in the team, they get on so well.

"A lot of them play in this outside team, Farnham Town. Which is just a grassroots level, but it's a very high grassroots level together.

"Just the bond they've built through that. We've got no player that thinks they're better than the rest of the team."

All hallows knocked out Forest School from Wokingham in the quarter-finals with an impressive 4-0 win.
