Guildford Flames set their sights on another win on Spectrum Ice

This weekend’s game comes after their 4-3 derby win on Wednesday against Basingstoke Bisons.

The flames currently sit 5th in the league with 41 points.

Team captain Jez Lundin spoke with Eagle Radio ahead of this weekend’s clash: "Obviously they [Milton Keynes] are pushing for the title, so we have got to come in and work hard and do the little things right right and play together like a team."

Head coach Paul Dixon commented: "Sunday night is another big test with Milton Keynes Lightning in our building.  The key between now and then is to figure out a way to be more consistent from night to night.

"We know what we are capable of, yet we have often been our own worst opponent struggling to deliver that from one night to the next.  Hopefully we can carry this forward during the Lightning stop.”
