Man seriously injured and robbed by three men on stolen moped in Farnborough

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was left with serious injuries as he was assaulted and robbed by three men on a moped in Farnborough. 

The victim, a 56-year-old man from the town was on Reading Road when he was approached by the three men.

The incident happened between 6.05am and 6.15am this morning. 

The three men assaulted him before stealing his phone and bank cards. 

They left the scene on a red Honda moped in the direction of the A325.

The victim was taken to Frimley Park Hospital to be treated for his injuries which are considered serious but not life-threatening.

The moped is reported to have been stolen from Peabody Road between 8pm on 30 July and 6am this morning (31 July).

Hampshire Police want to speak to anyone who may have information.

Officers are particularly keen to identify the three men, who are all described as:

  • Aged between 18 and 30-years-old
  • Wearing dark sports clothing and face coverings
