35 year old man found with stab wounds in Farnborough

Hampshire Police say there is no risk to the wider community after a man was found with stab wounds in Farnborough. 

Officers were called at around 5:20pm yesterday (15 July) by the ambulance service to assist with reports of an assault inside an address in Vickers Close.

The 35-year-old is currently being treated in hospital where he is described as being in a stable condition. 

A 21-year-old man, and a 22– year-old man both from London, have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. 

Neighbourhood Inspector Phil Mayne wants to reassure the community

"We appreciate the public will have concerns but we want to assure them we believe this was a targeted incident and there is no risk to the wider community.

"Officers will be carrying out enquiries in the area and will be patrolling. If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to speak to them."
