Man threatened with a knife in Guildford

Surrey Police are looking for witnesses after a man was threatened with a knife in Guildford. 

The victim was on the crossroads between Stroughton Road and Manor Road yesterday evening (6 July) at around 8:30pm when the incident happened.

He was approached by four men who are believed to have got out of a red Vauxhall car or similar, by the small parade of shops on the crossroads of Grange Road.

Officers believe the victim ran away from the scene and the four suspects got back into a red coloured vehicle and drove off.

Police are asking for the public's help to understand what happened yesterday evening. 

They wish to speak to anyone who lives near or was in the area at around the time of the incident. 

Anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage is also asked to come forward.
