Prolific Farnborough shoplifter jailed for string of offences inluding carrying a knife

A prolific shoplifter from Farnborough has been sentenced to four months in prison for a long string of offences. 

They include carrying a knife and theft from a vehicle. 

Jason Reid Kennedy of Lynchford Road appeared in court yesterday (25 June). 

The 31-year-old was convicted and sentenced for the following:

  • Shoplifting – He stole coffee worth £47.70 from Co-op in Queens Road on 4 March.
  • Theft from motor vehicle – stole a handbag and laptop from a car parked in Syon Place on 11 March
  • Theft from motor vehicle – stole bank cards from a car parked in Clevedon Court on 11 March
  • Vehicle interference – relating to three cars parked on Montacute Close on 11 March.
  • Theft from motor vehicle – perfume and an iPod stolen from a car parked on Knightwood Close on 11 March.
  • Vehicle interference – relating to two cars parked on Woburn Avenue.
  • Shoplifting – stole coffee worth £47.70 from Co-op in Queens Road on 16 March.
  • Shoplifting – stole coffee and tuna worth £53.70 from Co-op in Queens Road.
  • Theft from motor vehicle – stole bank cards, cash and medicine from a car parked in Langley Walk on 12 April.
  • Vehicle interference – relating to a car parked in Cranwell Road on 12 April.
  • Possession of a knife in Lynchford Road on 30 April.
