Motorcyclist killed in crash in Surrey

Published by Carol Musgrave at 4:46pm 14th June 2020.

Police are investigating after a man was killed in a motorbike collision in Cobham.

They were called to Pointers Road this morning (14 June) at 11:30am, where a 24 year old had crashed into a gate.

Paramedics and air ambulance crews tried to save him, but he died at the scene.

His family have been told and the coroner has been informed.

It is believed the victim had been with a small group of other motorcycyle riders before the collision. The group are helping police with their enquiries.

Officers are appealing for anyone who saw or heard the crash, or saw the yellow and white motocross bike before it happened, to come forward.

They say the area is used by walkers, cyclists and horse riders - and are asking if anyone was in the area at the time, who may have seen something that could be important to the investigation.

Surrey Police can be contacted on 101, quoting reference PR/P20137361.
