People Surrey and Hampshire could be getting out the paddling pools and slapping on the suncream as we are set for a warm few days.

Temperatures are expected to stay in the 20s all week. 

Today (26 May) temperatures could reach up to 27°C.

The Met Office is forecasting... 

Wednesday 27 May: 25°C cloudy to start but with increasing amounts of sunshine.

Thursday 28 May: 21°C a little cloudy at times but dry with sunny spells 

Friday 29 May: 21°C warm, dry with plenty of sunshine 

Saturday 30 May: 22°C warm with long sunny spells 

A warning in the warm dry weather: 

Over the weekend (24 May) the continual dry weather meant the Fire Severity Index (FSI) has been increased to level four.

It means the risk of wildfires & rapid spread of fire will occur.

Surrey Fire and Rescue is urging people who see a fire while out exercising, particularly in commons or forests, to take extra care and call 999 immediately when safe to do so.

We are also warned against lighting bonfires.
