Surrey Heath MP Michael Gove says he is isolating at home after a member of his family has displayed mild coronavirus symptoms.

The unnamed member of his family began showing them on Sunday (5 April), with Mr Gove now remaining at home "in accordance with the guidance".

In a tweet he said he had not displayed any symptoms and was "continuing to work as normal".

Mr Gove delivered the government's daily coronavirus briefing from Downing Street on Saturday (4 April).

Elsewhere, fellow Surrey MP Dominic Raab is now standing in for the Prime Minister "where necessary" after Boris Johnson was taken to intensive care after his coronavirus symptoms worsened.
