Firefighters tackle blaze in Farnborough

Firefighters have been called to a blaze in Farnborough in the early hours of this morning (30 March).

Two crews from Rushmoor Fire Station were sent to Aldwick Close at around 12.40am.

A fence panel and shed were "fully destroyed" during the incident, a Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service (HFRS) spokesperson has confirmed.

Hampshire Constabulary was called by HFRS just before 1am, but "did not attend this incident", according to spokesperson.

Fire services left the scene just after 1am.

They were also called to a vehicle fire in Farnborough shortly afterwards, but this "turned out to be a false alarm", the fire service said.
