Coronavirus: Aldershot Town and Woking matches to go ahead this weekend

Following a board meeting held today (13 March), the National League has decided to allow matches in its three divisions to go ahead this weekend.

It means Aldershot Town's trip to AFC Fylde and Woking's home match with Dagenham & Redbridge will take place at 3pm tomorrow (14 March) as planned.

In a statement the National League said the situation would be kept "under constant and diligent review" and that it will follow government advice at all times.

Earlier the Premier League and EFL postponed all their matches until April, but the FA said the decision was up to individual leagues.

The National League said it "places the welfare and well-being of all those involved in and connected to its competition as the highest priority".

All Clubs and supporters are being encouraged to stay up to date with the latest public health advice.
