Arrests after teen robbed at knifepoint in Farnborough

Published by the Eagle Radio News Team at 1:16pm 12th March 2020.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 19-year-old was robbed in Farnborough.

He was walking through the Kingsmead car park underpass just before 3pm yesterday (11 March) when he was approached by three other teenagers.

One of them was holding a knife as the group demanded he hand over his property.

The 19-year-old refused to hand anything over before running away and alerting police - he did not sustain any injuries.

Hampshire Constabulary arrested two people a short while later.

Two boys, aged 14 and 16, from London are in police custody after being held on suspicion of robbery.

Anyone who was in or near to the Kingsmead car park yesterday afternoon and saw the incident is asked to call 101, quoting 44200092356.
