Trains between Farnham and Guildford cancelled through morning rush hour

There are still problems on the trains in parts of Surrey due to a landslide between Ash and Warnborough yesterday.

South Western Railway services between Farnham and Guildford are cancelled.

The operator says passengers travelling between Aldershot and Guildford are advised to go via Woking.

The disruption is expected until 9am this morning.

SWR says more work will be done overnight which means the line will shut from 11pm tonight until 9am tomorrow (13 March).

It has laid on six replacement buses between Aldershot and Guildford which will call at Ash and Wanborough.

SWR has warned travel times will be longer than usual due to a road closure in the area.

Tickets will be accepted at no extra charge on Kite Buses between Guildford and Aldershot.

The landslip is also affecting other Great Western Railway services between Guildford and Reading which remain suspended.

GWR tickets being accepted on South Western and Southern services.

There is also limited replacement bus service operating between Guildford and Ash.
