Ice warning for Surrey and Hampshire - and snow over higher ground

The Met Office has issued a warning for ice covering all of Surrey and Hampshire.

The yellow alert is in place from midnight tonight (25 February) through to 10am tomorrow morning (26 February).

The forecast is for a mix of rain and hail showers - and even snow on hills overnight before drying up by the morning.

Temperatures will fall below freezing with icy patches forming on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths, bringing travel disruption to some areas.
