Fancy getting your dog's names up in lights at G Live?

A touring production of La Boheme needs a pooch to star in its show at G Live in April.

The one night only performance of the Puccini romantic opera is on 2 April and features a full orchestra.

Set in the backstreets and attics of bohemian Paris, it tells the tale of the doomed, consumptive Mimi and her love for a penniless writer, Rodolfo.

Producer Ellen Kent is looking for a small, cute looking dog of any breed that does not bark too much:

"It could be a foo foo dog, a fluffy dog, like a shih tzu, we've had cockapoos, chihuahuas, a sausage dog, we've had all sort of little dogs coming on!

"Any dog that is laid-back, friendly, and a non-nervous dog."

The dog will be on a lead, and will be brought on stage by its owner - so you could also be famous for five minutes!

Ellen says the dog would not be on stage for more than five or ten minutes.

The production company has the correct licences and registration needed for animals to be on stage.

To 'audition' you can email angela@ellenkent.co.uk with a short description of your dog including breed. Also include some photos and state that it is for the G Live production in Guildford on 2 April.
