Flooded roads across Surrey and Hampshire

Reports are coming in of flooded roads as an amber warning for rain for Surrey and Hampshire remains in force.

They include:

  • Blackhorse Road both directions between A324 Brookwood Lye Road and Saunders Lane at Knaphill
  • Chalk Road both directions from Charterhouse Road to Nightingale Road in Godalming
  • A31 westbound from the A331 Blackwater Valley route to the Shepherd and Flock roundabout
  • Lower Weyborne Lane near Badshot Lea between Aldershot and Farnham
  • A3 Hook underpass southbound towards Guildford, at the A243 Hook Road (Hook Junction)
  • A325 Wrecclesham Hill in both directions from A31 Farnham By Pass (Coxbridge Roundabout, Wrecclesham) to B3384 Echo Barn Lane (Farnham)
  • A31 Farnham bypass eastbound from Crondall Road to A325 West Street (Coxbridge Roundabout)

It comes in the wake of the more severe alert going up at 12:15am today - upgraded from a yellow warning for rain yesterday.

Several flood alerts are also in place.
