Police are investigating the kidnap and assault of a teenager - which ended in the victim being released in Fleet.

A 17 year old boy was approached by three men in Mill Lane in Sandhurst last Monday (December 9) at around 9:30pm.

He was threatened by the three who then forced him into a car where they then attacked him.

The victim was let out of the car near Elvetham Road in Fleet at around 11.30pm that same night.

The teen suffered cuts to his face and hands, as well as bruising and swelling.

He was taken to hospital for treatment but has since been discharged.

The suspects are described as three white men wearing dark clothing and balaclavas.

One of the men was around 5ft 6ins tall and another was around 6ft tall.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Manminder Purewal, based at Maidenhead police station said he was appealing for witnesses - or to anyone who might have information - to come forward:

"I am also appealing for anyone who saw a dark red/maroon coloured Mitsubishi Shogun travelling between Sandhurst and Fleet on Monday evening (December 9).

"I would urge drivers to check any dash-cam footage in case it may have captured something that could assist with the investigation."
