Serving Surrey PCSO denies "racially aggravated public order"

A serving Surrey Police Community Support Officer has denied a charge of racially aggravated public order.

PCSO Danielle Carter appeared at Guildford Magistrates Court on Friday August 9 and pleaded not guilty.

The charge relates to an alleged offence that took place on December 1, 2018 in Reigate at 11.41pm.

The 34-year-old, who is based out of Reigate Police Station, is currently on restricted duties.

A trial date has been set for October 8, 2019 at Staines Magistrates Court.

Following the outcome of the criminal process, the circumstances of the case will be reviewed to determine if a misconduct process is required.
