Phyllis Tuckwell Music in the Park is back!

Published by Carol Musgrave at 1:15pm 12th July 2019. (Updated at 1:23pm 12th July 2019)

It is that time of year again, for Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care's biennial music event, Music in the Park.

The fundraiser takes place this weekend on both days (July 13 and 14)  at the King George V Playing Fields in Farnborough.

The tenth concert coincides with the charity's 40th anniversary year and the Rotary Club of Farnborough's 60th anniversary.

Saturday night will feature music through the decades, from The Backbeat Beatles, T.Rextasy and Madness tribute act The Los Palmas 6, while Sunday features The Magic of Motown along with a special guest performance from 70s band Hot Chocolate.

Gates will open at 5pm, performances start at 7pm, topped off with a grand fireworks finale at 10.30pm on both nights.

Concert goers are invited to bring food and drink hampers, but tents, gazebos, Chinese lanterns and BBQs are not permitted.

Tickets are £35. Children under 12 are free.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.
