Lorry driver stable in hospital after M25 crash

Police say a man who was airlifted to hospital in yesterday's M25 crash is in a stable condition.

The lorry driver suffered serious injuries in a collision with a black cab and a car, between Leatherhead and the  Wisley Interchange,  before 5am on July 11.

His vehicle jacknifed aross the motorway on the clockwise side, crashing into the central barrier.

The occupants of the other vehicles escaped uninjured. 

The motorway shut for nearly 10 hours after it happened.

Surrey Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have dash cam footage to contact them on 101.
