A crash along the A3100 Meadrow in Godalming has left a motorcyclist seriously injured.

It happened around 3pm this afternoon between a car and a motorbike near the junction with Catteshall Road.

The A3100 was closed whilst emergency services dealt with the incident but has now reopened.

Surrey Police confirmed the rider of the motorbike was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance service said paramedics remained on scene assessing the driver of the car and that the rider of the bike had been taken to St George’s Hospital.
