Pedestrian dead in A30 Camberley crash

A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car along the A30 in Camberley. 

Emergency services were called to the scene, near the Royal Swan, during the early hours of Saturday morning (June 15). 

A man in his 50s from Blackwater, who had been struck by a Ford C-Max, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The road was closed for investigation purposes until 7am, police say. 

The man's next of kin have been notified and investigations continue. 

The driver of the vehicle was not injured and is assisting police.  

No arrests have been made.

Officers are particularly keen to speak to any witnesses to the collision or anyone who saw the man in the area prior to the collision.
