Disruption on trains after signalling failure at Waterloo

Disruption on trains after signalling failure at Waterloo

Published by Carol Musgrave at 7:43am 13th June 2019. (Updated at 7:58am 13th June 2019)

South Western Railway services could be disrupted this rush hour after a signalling problem at Waterloo.

It affected platforms 15 to 24 - which meant trains heading towards Reading, Windsor and Barnes were not able to depart.

It has been resolved and all lines have been reopened, but SWR says it has been forced to change services, due to a knock-on affect following the disruption.

Trains could be delayed or cancelled, until 10am.

South Western Railway tickets will be accepted on:

  • London Underground services on any valid route
  • Great Western Services between Reading and London Paddington
  • Southern Railway services between Clapham Junction and London Victoria
