Heavy emergency service presence in Aldershot after man collapses at hotel

A man's been taken to hospital with serious injuries after collapsing at a hotel in Aldershot.

There's a heavy emergency services presence outside the property in Eggars Hill.

Officers were called following a concern for the welfare of the man, who's in his 40s.

A police cordon remains in place while officers establish the circumstances of the incident, it is not believed there was any third party involvement.

A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman confirmed they were called to reports a man had been found collapsed and in need of medical attention at approximately 13.10pm today.

Ambulance crews attended the scene and the man was assessed and treated before being taken to Frimley Park Hospital.
