Car burnt out following A3 crash

Pictures have emerged from the scene of a crash on the A3 this afternoon (April 20). 

Two lanes had to be shut after a collision and what's described as a "small grass fire".

Surrey Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and Surrey Fire and Rescue all attended the incident at Esher Common. 

Crews from Sunbury, Painshill and Epsom fire stations were all called to the scene. 

Officers confirmed no one everyone was safe from the incident.

The road has since reopened and the car has been recovered.
