New playhouse for Farnborough infant school targeted by vandals

New playhouse for Farnborough infant school targeted by vandals

Published by Josh Kerr at 5:18pm 14th March 2019.

Pupils at South Farnborough Infant School have been gifted a new playhouse for their playground.

It comes after the school fell victim to two incidents of vandalism to their previous playhouse last year which left it destroyed.

The school has since had CCTV installed as a deterrent and the new playhouse is in place for pupils to enjoy after being donated by local housebuilder Barratt Homes.

Helen Fletcher Davies, Headteacher at South Farnborough Infant School, said:

“We are extremely grateful to Barratt for their donation of a new playhouse; while the vandalism was very upsetting, the response to this incident emphasises how strong our community is here in North Camp.”

Lynnette St-Quintin, Sales Director for Barratt Southern Counties, added:

"It’s fantastic that the community has now rallied together to raise money for school CCTV, and so to be able to provide the school with a new playhouse was wonderful.”
