World War One film to begin production on Hankley Common

Popular film set site Hankley Common near Farnham is welcoming film and production crews for Sam Mendes' next big blockbuster...

First World War film "1917" is to be filmed on the site.

Production is due to begin in April and will last 20 weeks. 

James Bond film Skyfall- also written by Mendes- was also filmed there.

The film's IMDB page lists only two stars so far: Dean-Charles Chapman from Game of Thrones (2011) and Before I Go to Sleep (2014) and George MacKay from Peter Pan (2003).
