Man "driven at" in Frimley

Published by Josh Kerr at 4:50pm 15th January 2019.

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was allegedly driven at in Frimley.

Officers said the victim was crossing the road between Bridges Estate Agents and Michael Usher on Frimley High Street when a silver Volkswagen Golf turned the corner, causing him to jump out of the way to avoid being struck.

The driver of the car is then said to have got out of the vehicle and ran towards the victim, shouting and swearing at him, before chasing him towards the White Hart pub.

It happened between 5.40pm and 6.10pm on Sunday (13 January) before the victim ran into a Today’s Express shop where he called police.

If you have information about this incident you are asked to call police on 101, quoting PR/ 45190004327.

Alternatively, if you don’t want to speak to police, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
