South Western Railway trains

Published by the Eagle Radio News Team at 6:07pm 11th January 2019.

If you are travelling on the trains on Sunday - you might want to read through this.

We are warned of significant disruption on some of the lines in our area.

Engineering works will affect a number of South Western Railway routes.

Some lines between Clapham Junction and London Waterloo will be closed all day Sunday for track maintenance.

A reduced service will run in and out of Waterloo.

All lines in the Wimbledon, Surbiton and Kingston areas will also be closed on Sunday.

Replacement bus services will run on routes affected - as seen below.

A number of train services in and out of London Waterloo will use different platforms to normal, make extra stops or use alternative routes – which may mean your journey is longer than usual.

Some trains going between London Waterloo and Portsmouth via Haslemere will only be running between Woking and Portsmouth.

Trains will run between Worcester Park and Guildford via Epsom.

Trains going from Waterloo to Woking via Hounslow and Staines won’t run.

If you’re going between Guildford and Waterloo via Cobham, there’ll be a bus service in place for part of your journey.

Replacement bus services will also run from Clapham Junction to the following stations, where you can continue your journey from:

Effingham Junction
Worcester Park (for trains to Epsom)
Chessington South
Hampton Court
