Pedestrian hit in Surrey crash

A pedestrian is in hospital with serious injuries after she was hit in Esher last night (October 11).

The crash in Lammas Lane at around 7:10pm involved a black Volkswagen Transporter van.

The road was closed in both directions while emergency services dealt with the incident.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or with any information to come forward.

Officers are also keen to see any dashcam or helmet footage from vehicles in the area at the time.
