Man seriously injured in head-on crash in Guildford

A man has been rushed to hospital following a head-on collision in Guildford.

He suffered serious injuries in the crash between a silver Toyota Rav 4 and a green Suzuki Jimny.

It happened last night (October 11) before 7pm in Aldershot Road near the junction with Rydes Hill Road.

The victim, a passenger, was taken to St Georges Hospital in Tooting after he was cut free by fire crews.

Both drivers suffered minor injuries and were taken to the Royal Surrey.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw the collision, or has dashcam or helmet footage.
