Man taken to hospital after Ash Vale trespass incident

A man has been taken to hospital after being found close to the tracks at Ash Vale Railway Station.

British Transport Police were called at around 1.45pm after reports of a trespasser.

Officers attended the scene alongside paramedics, and South East Coast Ambulance Service confirmed he was assessed and treated, before being taken to Frimley Park Hospital.

The extent of his injuries is not yet known.

Police said an investigation is now underway to determine how the man came to be by the tracks.

All lines had closed following the incident but have since reopened.
