Farnham Tesco shut "until further notice" following ram-raid

Tesco Farnham

Published by Lucinda Horsley at 11:43am 11th July 2018. (Updated at 11:51am 11th July 2018)

Tesco Express in Farnham will be closed "until further notice" following a ram-raid.

The store, along Ridgway Road, was targeted during the early hours of Monday (July 9) morning.

A sign outside the store says it is going to remain closed "due to structural damage to the store".

Surrey Police said a forklift digger was driven into the store to steal the cash machine.

Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact officers by calling 101 or report.police.uk and quote the reference number PR/45180072788.

Tesco apologises for any inconvenience.
