Woman sexually assaulted in Farnborough

Police are investigating a reported sex assault on a woman in Farnborough. 

The 27-year-old was allegedly grabbed by a man as she was walking between Fernhill Road and Cotswold Close on Tuesday ( June 5) evening. 

Police say it happened sometime between 5pm and 5.15pm. 

The woman shouted out when it happened and then ran away.

The man is described as:

•           white
•           around 30 years old
•           5ft 2ins tall
•           of skinny build
•           short, straight brown hair
•           wearing dark, blue jeans and a black, leather-style jacket which was zipped up
•           having acne scarring on his cheeks

Detective Constable Brent Williams said: “We would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened, or anyone who has any information that could help our investigation.

“Were you in this area at this time? Do you remember seeing a man matching the description given?”
