Man suffers head injuries in Woking town centre assault

A man has suffered head injuries in an assault in Woking town centre.

He was attacked shortly before midnight on Friday 11 May along Locke Way, where a group were seen near a grey Volkswagen Golf.

The victim had to be taken to hospital while damage was also done to the car.

Three men from Woking, aged 18,19 and 20 were arrested.

Police are now appealing to hear from anyone who was near the area at the time, even if they spoke to officers on the scene.

The crime reference number to mentioned when calling 101 is PR/45180049167.

The investigation remains ongoing.
