You're never too old for romance....

AC Batch 2-060

Published by the Eagle Radio News Team at 6:19am 14th February 2018. (Updated at 7:42am 14th February 2018)

A Surrey care home is opening its doors to the public for a special valentines day date night.

Kings Lodge in Camberley is hosting an evening for single people over the age of 65.

For a £5 donation to the Alzheimer's Society guests can also expect champagne and canapés.

Nicki Kenealy, from Aura Care Living which run Kings Lodge, said: “The Kings Bar is such a romantic setting and a great environment for socialising.

“We have never heard of a date night for the over 65’s and we believe that we can provide a suitable setting with Kings Lodge.

"We are not trying to play cupid, we see it as an excellent opportunity for people of a certain age to socialise.”
