Man hit by Guildford bus dies

A man who was hit by a bus in Guildford yesterday evening (5 December) has died, police say.

He was struck at 6:52pm along Stoke Road, which was then closed between York Road and Onslow Road for a number of hours.

The man, in his 90s, was taken to a hospital in London where he was pronounced dead.

Police are continuing their appeal for witnesses to the incident.
