Yateley's Freddie to start intensive treatment next week

Published by the Eagle Radio News Team at 8:10am 6th October 2017. (Updated at 8:20am 6th October 2017)

There is good news for Yateley's Freddie Hunt - as the three year old struggles to recover from surgery on a brain tumour.

He now has a date to start an intensive four month programme at Tadworth Court in Epsom to help him walk again.

It is also hoped he might lose some weight -  he has been battling hypothalamic obesity following the operation in America earlier this year.

Mum Abby told Eagle Freddie begins the programme at Tadworth Court in Epsom next week Wednesday (October 11).

Posting on the Together For Freddie Facebook page yesterday, she said: " This afternoon I received a call from the rehabilitation centre at Tadworth Courth, centre for childre with brain injuries.

"Freddie will be admitted this Wednesday coming."

She also said it was going to be a disruptive time for the family - as she will be going with Freddie and living there for the entire time: "This is tough...but something that has to be done for Freddie."
