Biz Awards 2017 go off in style

Surrey and Hampshire's finest business brains have gathered for the Eagle Radio Biz Awards.

We are celebrating business success in our area, with firms and leaders competing for awards in 10 categories.

All nominees were be treated to a special appearance from Paul Sinton-Hewitt, the founder of Park Run, at Mercedes Benz World.

Elisabeth Pilgrem from the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice was named Employee of Year.

She said: "Well, it's just an amazing privilege and I want to say thank you to Phyllis Tuckwell for supporting me.

"We're very much a team and I have a volunteer who works together with me.

"This is just going to inspire me to go on with it."

Andy Walton from Cellar Wines won the New Business Award: "Absolutely flabbergasted.

"We were very happy just to be nominated in the first place.

"To actually win it was such a surprise as there were a lot of other good competitors in it.

"We are over the moon."
