Be prepared - Overnight road closures across Surrey and Hampshire

A3 road

If you use the A3 or M3 late, be prepared..

The roads are set to close from tonight (March 20).

Here are the details.

You will not be able to use the A3 southbound from 10.00pm until 6.00am tomorrow morning (March 21). 

The roadworks are between the A31 Farnham Road (Hogs Back, Guildford) and A283/B3001 Elstead Road (Milford).

A diversion will be in place via the A31 and A325. 

Meanwhile there is another week of overnight closures on the M3.

Southbound the road is shut from junction 4 for the A331 Camberley and junction 5 for Hook.

It shuts at 8pm and re-opens at 5.30am tonight and on the 24th.

Diversions will be in operation via for A331, A30 and A287.

In the opposite direct, northbound, the road is shut between junction 3 for Lightwater and junction 2 for the M25 from 8pm to 5.30am.

That is tonight (March 20) and the 22nd.

Diversions use the A332, A30 and M25
