An antique clock of 'great sentimental value' has been stolen from a house in Woking.

At around 6pm on December 7 an intruder broke through patio doors to gain entry to the home before stealing the black and ebonised Gilt Victorian Charles Frodsham bracket clock from a table.

The face of the clock has roman numerals and a silver surrounding area and Surrey Police is appealing for the public's help in tracking it down.

PC Claudia Curel-May, from Woking Area Patrol Team, said: “This clock is of great sentimental value to the owner and I am keen to hear from anybody who may have seen this clock for sale online or at auctions.

“The clock is a very unique distinctive looking clock and very recognisable – if you have any information or think you could have purchased the clock online please contact us as soon as possible.”

Surrey Police urge anybody with any information to call 101 quoting, 45160108425
